
Becca is a licensed Mental Health Counselor dedicated to the integration of mindfulness and body-centered techniques to release stored trauma and stress. Informed by neuroscience, her gentle approach regulates the nervous system and restores peace and vitality in clients. She holds a deep respect for all human experience and a firm believer that our bodies are designed to heal themselves if given the support and awareness needed during the recovery process.
Her counseling career began in 2004 assisting children, adolescents and families in the school setting. More recently she expanded her private practice in holistic health & wellness to offer individual and group counseling services to people of all ages.
She strives to create a safe space for clients to bring whatever they are going through, restore self-trust, and reconnect them to their body’s innate wisdom to heal and transform. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in compassion, acceptance, mindfulness, curiosity, and a healthy dose of humor. She is passionate about empowering clients to live full and healthy lives.

EDUCATION & POST GRADUATE STUDIES Becca’s integrative mind-body approach is informed from her on going post-graduate studies in Somatic Experiencing, a trauma healing modality developed by Peter Levine; and the Mindfulness Mediation Teacher Training Program under the direction of Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach.
She holds multiple graduate degrees in Counselor Education with emphasis in School, Mental Health and Play Therapy (EdS, University of Mississippi; MA, University of Central Florida). She additionally is a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher.
OUTSIDE OF THE OFFICE Becca is a native Floridian, loves her 2 daughters, travel, the scenic route, yoga, stand up paddling, making seashell jewelry, sunshine and nature.
